Foreign ministers in Vilnius

Foreign minister of Estonia  Urmas Reinsalu was in Vilnius Monday, meeting his counterparts Edgars Rinkēvičs (Latvia), Linas Linkevičius (Lithuania) and Jacek Czaputowicz (Poland). and focusing on the potential reopening of European Union borders with third (i.e. non-European Union) countries as part of the region’s COVID-19 exit strategy.

Sunday, July 14 had been the 79th anniversary of the June Soviet deportations from Baltic states to Siberia; the four ministers laid wreaths at the Vilnius Soviet occupation monument.
