On 3 April Mr Uku Särekanno, Deputy Director General of Estonian Information System Authority visited Vilnius and participated as the main guest at the discussion on How to secure elections? E-voting in Estonia at the Lithuanian Seimas. The discussion was organized by the Seimas Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the Republic of Estonia in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Lithuania. Presentations were made by Mr Särekanno and Mr Alo Einla, Head of Elections Infosystems Development Department of the Information System Authority, welcome addresses were delivered by Mr Andrius Kupčinskas, Head of the Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the Republic of Estonia as well as H.E. Ms Jana Vanaveski, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia. The discussion was attended by numerous members of Seimas, representatives of Lithuanian state institutions and diplomats of foreign countries.
